Attention CCRC members:
With the introduction of 'Social Bubbles' in the Alameda County Guidelines, Chabot Canyon will be starting a doubles play format known as 'Doubles Bubbles'. Please read the summary below and click on the link to download, print, sign and drop off your group's registration. If you have specific questions please reply to this email.
Overview
- Players can form a four-person Social Bubble according to the Social Bubble Agreement.
- Members of the bubble are required to read and understand the current Alameda County Health Order regarding Social Bubbles.
- Bubbles remain in effect for a minimum of three weeks.
- Individuals may belong to only one Social Bubble at a time.
- After three weeks, the bubble can remain in place or individuals are free switch to another exclusive bubble.
- Bubble members must play doubles exclusively (only) with members of their one bubble, and with no other bubble. Singles can be played with anyone at the club.
- No substitutes from outside the bubble are allowed to play doubles.
Reservations
- Doubles reservations require the names of all bubble members.
- If names aren't provided in the reservation, staff will contact the person who made the reservation.
- If there is no response within 24 hours, the reservation will be cancelled.
Forming a Social Bubble
- Before forming a bubble, be sure to check each other's calendars for the next three weeks.
- Verify that bubble members are willing to comply with the Social Bubble Agreement.
- Submit one signed (by all four members) Social Bubble Agreement when your group plays its first match at the club.
